Background and Mission

The Boxford Village Garden Club has been an active club since 1938 providing civic beautification and education regarding horticulture and the environment.  Members maintain gardens in 9 visible sites throughout Boxford.

Each monthly meeting includes accomplished speakers in all things that touch gardening. In December we decorate town buildings with wreaths and swags that we have made.

Our Plant Sale in the spring offers hundreds of plants from members' gardens.

We meet on the third Friday from September to April, starting off with a social time followed by an informative speaker.

Look for us at Boxford's Apple Festival in September.

Our members want to give back to our town; we welcome you to find something you are passionate about and to join our club. If you are interested in joining the club, contact our Membership Chair Melanie Cullinane at boxfordvillagegardenclub@gmail.com.

Find us on Facebook at Boxford Village Garden Club.

Mrs. Harlan P. Kelsey became the first president. The following fall, the club joined the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts and are members of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. as well. We are a nonprofit organization under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the IRS.
